  • Once time and temperature are set up, press “ok” again to confirm al the setting data. The machine will start heating up.
  • When the press heats up to the protective temp(P-L), it will approximately maintain at the protection temperature . It is time to put mug in the heating element, and press “Enter” key to heat up (You can see HEATING light of controller is bright, and the press continue to heat up to working temp).

  • Peel off the sublimation paper carefully. A beautiful exclusive mug comes out. Caution: Hot!

Mug Sizes

The bosstop mug press is assumed to have an 11oz capacity heat wrapper. This can be changed to a different heat wrapper size, but you will need to purchase the heat wrapper online (and hope that it is compatible).

There is another mug press in the hackspace, which has two heat wrappers.

The heat press seems to fit 15oz mugs with the same wrapper and a little adjustment.

The conical wrapper for the Chinese “meat press” does not work well with marrow-type mugs, see image. Maybe it would work better if it was properly taped on, as this image was not.
