Specification

  • 750 Watts (1.0hp) 230V induction motor.
  • 6“ x 48” belt tilts & locks at any angle from 0 to 90° with spring adjuster to regulate belt tension.
  • 9“ (230mm) sanding disc
  • 190mm x 317mm sanding table that is adjustable between 0 & 45°. Can be used with either sanding belt or disc.
  • Complete with finger guard on belt, full disc guarding & mitre fence (part code ZHTCS6962) on sanding table.

Basic Guidelines

  • Always turn on the extraction system and open the gate to the sander before use.
  • Don't use gloves or anything that could get caught in the spinning mechanism.
  • Be careful not to sand your fingers, consider using mole grips of pliers to hold smaller parts.
  • if you're sanding something particularly dusty, respiratory protection is highly advised.

Belt cleaning

This is the cleaning rubber for the sander, it usually lives on the wall behind the sander. Use it whenever the abrasive sheet is clogged up with wood dust, and you will find that you get better abrasion. To use, touch against the moving belt or disc as shown for a few seconds.
