USB Audio Mixer - Wharfedale Pro 502

The audio mixer located in Bristol Communal Modular's area of the space is available for use by everyone to play music in the space.

The mixer is used alongside the Cambridge Audio Amplifier

The Mixer has the following specs
  • 1 x XLR input
  • 4 x 6.3mm line input
  • 2-band EQ
  • 2 x 6.3mm outputs
  • USB Interface
  • 16bit/48khz
Usage

The power switch is located on the rear of the device.

  • The Line In input on the far left is a stereo input. This should be used when playing through the speakers.
  • Make sure the Cambridge Audio Amplifier is turned off (power button on far left) and the volume knob is turned all the way down (anti-clockwise/left)
  • Max out the volume on your device, making sure the “Gain” knob on the far left does not show the “clipping” led flash. If it does, turn down the gain until it stops flashing.
  • Turn up the level (bottom knob) until the VU meter on the far right shows the yellow leds lighting up
  • Turn the 'Master' level to about half way
  • Turn the amplifier on and raise volume to desired level
