 Bristol Hackspace is formally run by Bristol Open Technology Lab C.I.C. (or BOTLab for short), a not-for-profit community interest company (Company No. 7071572). We have no shareholders - instead we have a constitution giving all members a right to vote on the running of the organisation, an elected Committee who oversee day-to-day administrative activities, and an elected board of Directors who oversee BOTLab as a whole.
+The Hackspace is currently in a transition period, waiting on The Charity Commission to become a C.I.O. Once this happens the current Directors will become the Trustees of BOTLab. The date of this transition is unknown and out of our control.
