+To choose a stitch, enter its number on the numeric keypad. Stitch numbers are detailed on the pull out tab on the right of the machine, and in the user guide. You can change the width and length of the stitch using the top two +/- buttons on the machine.
+You should make sure you use the correct presser foot for the stitch you are sewing.  To find the recommended foot, press the "i" button on the machine.  The foot number will be displayed. (The numbers are embossed on the feet themselves).  If a dot is visible on the lower right of the screen, you should engage the IDT system.
