===== Committee =====

The Committee are a group of elected volunteers who look after the day-to-day running of the Hackspace. They form part of our [[governance:home|governance]] structure.

Their responsibilities include:
  * Repairing or replacing equipment.
  * Replenishing consumables.
  * Managing the membership list, including onboarding and offboarding.
  * Managing Risks and Hazzards.
  * Moderating the forum.
  * Managing our digital systems.
  * Organising social events.
  * Periodic fire alarm testing.
  * Handling minor grievances.

Each quarter, the committee is allocated a budget by the Directors for this purpose. 

Committee members are elected at General Meetings.
